Amanda is South African, born and raised, with her feet in the cool lagoon water, and her back resting up against the foresty hills of Wilderness.
After having finished a senior certificate, she took some time out and traveled to Europe, where she fell in love with the Keukenhof's tulips in Holland, went on the scariest rollercoaster in France and walked accross the river Liffey in Ireland...
That was then. And this is now.
Today, Amanda lives on a farm, in the Great Karoo, portraying her beautifull land and its people.
"My photographs are shimmering jewels I hang around my neck... Precious and close to my heart... Each taken with commitment and dedication. I am dangerously attracted to black and white photography..."
Amanda will now put the camera aside for a moment, and take us and her little boy by the hand for a short trip through her world.
